When Jaelene Hinkle withdrew from playing in two international matches for the United States women’s national team last year for “personal reasons,” many speculated that she did so because the team was going to be wearing LGBT pride jerseys. In a recent interview with the 700 Club, she confirmed that this was the reason for her decision.

This is the first time I am hearing about this story, as I don’t follow soccer. It is simply unbelievable to me that a sports team would make this decision. Can you imagine the uproar in the media if a team decided to emblazon a Cross on their uniforms? Anyone remember the countless times the sky fell when Christians would take a knee and pray to celebrate a victory? Anyone remember the countless lawsuits filed by atheist organizations?

Go Packers!

I understand and applaud when teams take to wearing apparel in support of worthy causes, like Breast Cancer awareness for example… but Gay Pride?? REALLY???

You may not have noticed but our Country has been on a steady moral decline for decades… more of a free fall really. But don’t be discouraged… it is my personal opinion that we are living in the end times and that the return of Jesus Christ is imminent.

I know what you may be thinking, people have believed that since Jesus ascended! You are absolutely right, but recently I wrote an article “4 Reasons to Believe the End is Near“, give it a read and let me know what you think.

I am also very curious to read your thoughts on this article, do you think her career in soccer is over?
